Designer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Master in Marketing and Communications, she turned her great passion, visual art, professionally in 2007.

Marcela Krause is a designer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master in Marketing and Communications. In 2007 Marcela channeled her profession to her big passion: visual art. 

 

During her career, she has performed eight individual and ten collective exhibitions, both in Chile and abroad, including New York, Caracas and Lima. 

 

Marcela also has participated in art fairs in Shanghai, Miami, Dubai and shortly in  Australia. Her works have also been part of national and international auctions.

In December 2013, the International Association of Art Critics in Chile recognized her work as one of the twelve artists of the year, thus participating in the 12 x 12 Exhibition, New Media. In 2015 she was awarded the Pablo Neruda Prize from the Brazilian Literarte Association together with Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

 

Her art pieces are part of national and international, private and governmental art collections. Among these, thirty-four works that are part of the permanent collection of the corporate building of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile stands out.

 

Currently, her work can be appreciated in important virtual media such as Arsty New York, Art Plus Shanghai, Spectrum Miami, Saatchi Gallery, Syngulart and South Trip Gallery.
